I started belly dancing with Ely Buffin of Fresno in 2007; And soon after moved to Visalia and began Turkish bellydancing under the direction of Rebecca Barnes. I preformed up and down California with Belly Dance Troupe Al Zahara, and wanted to learn additional belly dance styles. In 2009 on one hand i began learning Tribal belly dance in conjuction with American Cabaret under director and famous belly dancer Cory Zamora. This was important to me because it re-etablished my roots in traditional belly dance, and gave me an opportunity to analyze how the dance has morphed in modern American society.io coming soon...
