This
teaches, by demonstration and clear instructions, the lost art of technical

bellydancers and future performers. It contains intriguing and informative
interview/discussion of Cabaret Floor moves, how they evolved and where they
fit in to Cabaret Bellydancing historically and today.
Then Cory Zamoras's "advice to bellydancers" tells how to
deal with different customers in a cabaret setting and other useful advice.
She skillfully teaches you how-to-do various bellydance floor moves, using
two different body types of dancers. Bellydancing Cabaret style is both a
traditional and specialized dance performance. Here a very experienced and
professional Cabaret Bellydancer, Ms Cory Zamora shows how to do it right.
Her interaction with the musical group and the audience shows how to use
finesse and beauty to make a captivating performance. She does traditional
moves to first cast away evil in her dance. Then, she explains and shows why
and how the dancers goes into a special Bellydancer's trance. She uses the
veil, does the rare "Turkish Drop" to the floor where she performs floor
movements, which no one seems to know and is not taught anymore. You can
learn it from practicing the moves she shows you in a deliberate manner on
this tape.
Cory then performs for you and shows you how to heat up the
night as you undulate to magical Middle Eastern music. Footage shows her
dancing to the music of two groups, Mirage and Brothers of the Baladi. Much
of the dance is as though you are there. Follow her teaching and practice
the moves to improve your dancing ability. Enjoy the lessons and the dancing
over and over. Quality is excellent. Color, 62 minutes. NTSC
